Chad and I are both originally from Louisiana and have always had a deep love for the water and the beach. After moving to North Carolina in 2006 and settling in New Bern in 2008, we quickly fell in love with the beautiful coastline. From our very first visits to Atlantic Beach, we dreamed of one day owning a place here.
We purchased our first beach home in 2020 in Atlantic Beach and completed a full renovation. As we spent more time in the area, we knew we wanted to be even closer to the heart of it all. In 2024, we purchased our beach home located in the Atlantic Beach Circle. We loved spending our time listening to live music, visiting the local restaurants and shops, and getting to know the community—so much so that we decided to make it a bigger part of our lives. We renovated the downstairs apartment and have upgraded the 2nd and 3rd floors and added an outdoor kitchen and bar area. We are continously making improvments during the off-season.
The house was built in 1955 as a true beach cottage. At one point, it was converted into a small apartment complex with four units. Today, it remains a quaint and charming piece of Atlantic Beach history — a nostalgic nod to its classic coastal roots.
We truly love our beach home and its own unique coastal vibe.
